Camp Lazarus Results
December 2, 2007
Thanks to Shin and Chiori for organizing, planning and setting the controls for the Camp Lazarus meet. They also picked up all the controls. Here are Karen's comments on the meet:
The meet went very well. I was afraid the weather would scare everyone off, but we had a pretty good turn out. Shin and Chiori set a "Cross Country" course in addition to W,Y,O,G. It was 5 K with easy controls. Their boys and a couple of kids from their cross country team came out. Also had a couple of Columbus Road Runner folks.
The usual amount of Boy Scouts and Mrs. Oxley's kids. Also the Franklin Heights Navy JROTC had about 5 kids out.
The weather wasn't really that bad. It wasn't as cold or windy as yesterday. A bit of drizzling rain off and on, but not bad for December.

Mr Mohr dropped his glove during meet. We were looking for it while picking up controls.
But we couldn't find it.
