15 March 2008, Saturday, A.W. Marion State Park, National Orienteering Day, Circleville. Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM.
From Columbus, take Rt. 23 south to Rt. 22 in Circleville. Take Rt.22 east, past county fairgrounds. After the Ohio Christian Univ. look for signs to the main park on the left.
13 April 2008, Sunday, Great Seal St. Pk, Chillicothe. Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM.
From Columbus, take Rt. 23 south. Take the SR207 exit, turn left at the stop sign, then right on Hospital Road, then turn left on Delano Road. Turn right on Marietta Rd. Go 6/10 of a mile and turn left into Park.
10 May 2008, Saturday, Alum Creek St. Pk, Delaware. Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM.
From Columbus, take I-71 north to Polaris exit. Turn left (west). Turn right (north) on Old State Rd. Follow signs to Beach or Marina (TBD).
1 June 2008, Sunday, Delaware State Park, Delaware. Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM.
7 June 2008, Saturday, Alley Park, Lancaster OH, National Trails Day Work Party. Come work on the trails in the morning and orienteer for free afterwards. Details to be announced later. CANCELED.
For all events; once you are in the general area of the meet, follow the orange and white signs to registration. Remember to always check back in, even if you don’t complete the course. Otherwise, a search may be needlessly started to find you. |
