20 Sep 2009, Sunday, AW Marion State Park, Circleville. National Orienteering Day. Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM. .
From Columbus, take Rt. 23 south to Rt. 22 in Circleville. Take Rt.22 east, past county fairgrounds. After the Ohio Christian University look for signs to the main park on the left.
18 Oct 2009, Sunday, Delaware State Park, Delaware. Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM.
8 Nov 2009, Sunday, Alley Park, Buckeye Billy, Lancaster. Our Billy Goat style event, long and short goat and beginners course.. Directions: From Columbus, take the Route 33 bypass to the South (toward Logan, Ohio).
At the southern end of the bypass, take the Tarkiln Road exit.
Turn left and left again onto Old Logan Road, do not go the extra 100 feet to the traffic light.
On the left at about 2 miles, you will see the entrance to Alley Park. Alternate Directions: From Columbus, take Rt. 33 southeast through Lancaster. About 2 miles
after Lancaster, take Stump Hollow Rd. to the right. Immediately, go
left on Old Logan Rd. for 1/2 mile to the Park on the right.
5 Dec 2009, Saturday, Camp Lazarus, Delaware. Boy Scout Camp (no dogs), Registration/Starts 11AM – 1PM.
Take U.S. 23 north from Columbus, about 9 miles past I-270. Camp is on the left (west).
For all events; once you are in the general area of the meet, follow the orange and white signs to registration. Remember to always check back in, even if you don’t complete the course. Otherwise, a search may be needlessly started to find you. |
